Giuliana Nicolucci-Altman
Giuliana Nicolucci-Altman is an environmental consultant focused on climate mainstreaming for humanitarian actors in fragile contexts. She has consulted for international actors such as the UNHCR, UNDP, Sida, GCF, and the Red Cross to address their climate adaptation and mitigation needs, in addition to her work in corporate environmental sustainability during her tenure at Wavestone. Previous to her work as a consultant, Giuliana has worked in the humanitarian response to the Syrian refugee crisis both as an aid worker in the field and through program coordination. Giuliana is a published researcher with a Master’s degree in Human Rights and Humanitarian Action from Sciences Po Paris as well as a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Sociology from the Johns Hopkins University. Fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, French, and English, Giuliana is currently based between New York City and Paris.
